Cissus discolor (Rex Begonia Vine)
Commonly known as the Rex Begonia Vine, the Cissus Discolor is not a begonia but a relative of the grape vine. It’s a stunning, vining plant that’s perfect in hanging planters. Native to South-East Asia and Australia, you’d typically find it winding its way around trees in rainforests, using its dark red tendrils to climb up to the canopy. Its leaves have dark green and pearlescent silvery markings, accented by deep purple veins and stems. It can be trained to climb up a trellis/ wall/ pole, or left to trail and spread.
