Mini Pitcher Plant

Pitcher Plant, (Nepenthes) is a genus of carnivorous plants, where it will trap insects with its pitcher-shaped leaves that form a pitfall trap for falling insects and digest them as a source of nutrients.

Avoid fertilising them, and use distilled/ rain water, or tap water that has been left overnight where possible for best results. Even though they are lethal to gnats and small insects, they are completely safe for pets.

  Light | Bright, indirect light to full sun (the latter preferred)

  Water | Stand pots in water and wait for plant to absorb; throw away excess water once plant has absorbed sufficient water
