Dianthus have so much to offer – edible flowers, evergreen foliage, drought tolerant and also fragrant. Blooming over a long period, the flowers come in a wide array of bright colours, ranging from white to red, often in bicolour combinations. They thrive in cool, bright spaces and dislike heat, so air-conditioned offices with bright light will be most ideal for them. Once established, they are easy to grow and beautiful to watch.
