Begonia Hemsleyana Silvery Jewel

Begonias are loved as houseplants and prized for their foliage, some asymmetrical, some patterned, and others variegated. With over 1,000 species and many more varieties and hybrids, begonias come in different colours, shapes and sizes too. Striking the right balance with watering and humidity is the biggest challenge when growing begonias. Ideally the potting mix should be slightly damp at all times, but not overly wet as Begonias are very susceptible to root rot.

Begonia Hemsleyana Silvery Jewel is grown and imported from Japan, with upright, fuzzy, dark red stems adorned with white-speckled olive green leaves.
