Calathea Ornata (Calathea Pinstripe)

Calatheas are commonly known as prayer plants, because their leaves fold together at night, like praying hands. The Calathea Ornata (also known as the Calathea Pinstripe or Pinstripe plant) is a beautiful plant with pink stripes on its large green leaves. They similarly love a moist potting mix and keep them away from direct light. Calatheas love humidity, so group them together with other plants, or place them near a humidifier to replicate the conditions of a rainforest.
