Dracaena (Sansevieria) Trifasciata
Commonly referred to as the snake plant or mother-in-law’s tongue, Sansevierias grow in a wide range of lighting conditions from low indirect light, to direct sunlit spaces. They can tolerate neglect, making it easy for anyone to care for. Even helping to purify the air, this is definitely a great indoor plant to have. Sansevieria is a previously recognized genus of plants that has recently been included into the Dracaena genus.
Dracaena (Sansevieria) Trifasciata is one of the most widely cultivated variety of snake plants, with dark green and yellow-edged leaves* pointing upwards. It is durable, and prefers dry conditions. Like other succulents, the roots of the plant cannot be allowed to sit in water to prevent root rot.
