Boasting some of the most striking foliage in the houseplant world, the Alocasia is an increasingly popular addition to indoor plant collections due to its unmatched visual and sculptural appeal. Alocasias need bright, indirect light, and grow best in humid environments. A rare find, Alocasia Cuprea has thick, abs-like deep green foliage with a red glossy sheen. As with all Alocasias, they are prone to pests like spider mites, so do check the undersides of the leaves regularly for webbing, and wipe them down frequently with soapy water to aid prevention.
